Dress code at Henley Regatta

What to wear to this elegant sporting event

Henley Regatta is steeped in history and tradition. For many of our members and guests it is the social highlight of the year and they like to dress to impress. Choosing what to wear to Henley Regatta is an exciting part of the occasion. Some might say the fashion is just as important as the occasion itself. Choose from the options below to read our advice around what to wear, for ladies, gentlemen and children. It’s not every day you attend Henley Regatta so it’s a good opportunity to enjoy looking spectacular on the day! If you are inviting guests please do make sure they are familiar with the dress code guidelines.

Please also note the following:

- These rules also apply to guests on boats moored on the River Front and in the Moat from 10.00am until 6.30pm from Wednesday to Sunday.

- Regatta dress rules apply from 10.00am until 6.30pm Wednesday to Saturday and until after prize giving on Sunday.

- Before 10.00am and after 6.30pm on Regatta days, normal dress rules apply in the Club house.

- Anyone attending an evening function should conform to the dress code specified on the event ticket.

Please remember: For the sake of the majority, anyone whose dress does not conform will, regrettably, have to be turned away by the staff at the gate.
